There are no chances of GM-norms.

GM Vladimir BURMAKIN (RUS 2558) has been confirmed at the 10th and final GM in the tournament.
The list of participants now has 56 players.

The name of the tournament has therefore been changed to Gausdal Bygger'n Masters.

The organizers are very pleased to announce that GM Magnus Carlsen, the world's youngest grandmaster,
has confirmed his participation in Gausdal Troll Masters 2005.
3 September 2005:
A new list of participants has been released, with 43 players.
Among the new players we find GM Vladimir Dobrov (RUS 2535), GM Dejan Antic (SCG 2512) and 15-year old
FM Jon Ludvig Hammer (NOR 2318). We are still working to ensure the participation of a very special and attractive GM
and several IMs and WGMs. Next update will be in a week's time.
29 August 2005:
WANTED: 4-6 IMs and/or WGMs interested in playing for a GM-norm at Gausdal for reduced and
hopefully reasonable costs. If you might be one of them, please do not hesitate contacting the organizing committee at
hanso.lahlum@c2i.net.

The first preliminary list of participants has been released, with 35 players.
The organizer is still in dialogue with several attractive players, and hopes later to supplement
the lineup with two more GMs "above approximately 2550". Following this and the low percentage
of unrated players, chances will be excellent even for GM-norms.
